The Right to Rights (2004-2006)

A four-phase project with the topic of human, children’s and minority rights and their protection first involved primary school teachers’ training, including school psychologists, pedagogues and civic education teachers, in 12 primary schools in APV. Then another 468 high school students in APV were involved in peer education training on the same topics. A total of 132,000 bookmarks, school timetable sheets and parents’ memo brochures on children’s rights were distributer to high school first graders and their parents in APV. The third phase was training another 315 primary school pedagogues and psychologists in children’s rights workshop delivery and printing of the second edition of the How We Can Get Along manual. The project ended with an art exhibition in the hall of the APV Government with over 100 paintings and drawings of primary school pupils tackling children’s rights
